Offset’s motorsports left him feeling bad and woozy.
The Migos rapper ended up in the hospital after a car crash in Atlanta totaled his green Dodge Challenger.
Offset, real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus, posted a photo of the damage on Instagram Sunday and said he was lucky to be alive.
“This is why I thank God Every day I could have been dead from this accident thank you all for you prayers all I can say is (G O D I S R E A L G E T W I T H H I M ) H E S A V E S L I V E S,” he wrote.
The Instagram post showed pictures of Offset’s damaged vehicle along with the lacerations he incurred. In the photos, his hands and face can be seen bleeding. His neck was secured in a brace.
He was rushed to a hospital with minor injuries.
In a now-deleted tweet, Offset’s fiance Cardi B said the crash last Wednesday was caused by a “crackhead” in the road.
“Crazy how Set had to swerve and hit a tree cause a crackhead was in the middle of the road trying to get hit or kill himself,” she wrote, “but God do unexplainable things! Luckily a man was walking by, walked him home and just vanished. The Lord is real.”
A report from TMZ indicates Offset had destroyed the car and Cardi arrived at the medical facility shortly thereafter. Offset was released from the hospital after one day.
Police said that emergency responders were not needed at the scene and an accident report was not filed. The circumstances surrounding the crash are not clear.
On Thursday, Cardi had tweeted what may have been a reference to the incident.
“Sooo grateful and happy today,” she wrote. “God be giving messages in the weirdest way I love you.”
By Friday, Offset had already returned to the studio, albeit still wearing his neck brace, according to People.
