Some of the biggest names in Pop, Hip-Hop and R&B were among the winners at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles.

Cardi B took home Best Hip-Hop for “Safe,” featuring Kehlani, beating a field that included Drake, Megan Thee Stallion, Travis Scott and Tyler, The Creator.

In R&B, Bruno Mars won Best R&B for “I Just Might,” ahead of Chris Brown, Tems and Dave, Justin Bieber, Kehlani and Mariah the Scientist with Kali Uchis.

LISA captured Best Pop for “Dream,” beating nominees including Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter, Tate McRae and Taylor Swift.

Among the night's other major winners, Madonna was named Artist of the Year and also won Best Album for Confessions II, while Taylor Swift took Video of the Year for “The Fate of Ophelia.”

BTS won Song of the Year for “Swim” and was also named Best Group, while Sienna Spiro claimed Best New Artist.

The 2026 MTV VMAs were hosted by Snoop Dogg at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
