Dr. Dre Says He’s Going ‘Off the Grid’ For A Year Or Two After 41 Years In The Studio

Hip-hop legend Dr. Dre has hinted at stepping away from music production after more than four decades in the industry.

Speaking on a recent podcast, the seven-time Grammy winner revealed that although he's been in the studio every year since launching his career, he's now considering exploring new opportunities outside music.

Dre, who helped shape hip-hop through his work with N.W\.A., Snoop Dogg, Eminem and 50 Cent, says he's curious about discovering something that could bring him the same excitement he first experienced with music.

The legendary producer also expressed enthusiasm about the growing role of artificial intelligence in music production.
