Usher is once again embracing the title of “King of R&B,” making a dramatic statement during a recent tour stop in Las Vegas.

While performing Confessions on the R&B Tour, the Grammy-winning singer placed a diamond-encrusted crown featuring the letter “U” on his head before taking a seat on a throne.

The moment sparked debate among fans on social media over who deserves the title of R&B’s king.

Usher has previously addressed the debate, saying he is comfortable carrying the title while recognising the influence of legends including Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Marvin Gaye and Teddy Pendergrass.
