Jamaica Kingsmen are through to the 2026 Caribbean Premier League final after defeating the Guyana Amazon Warriors in a thrilling playoff at Kensington Oval.
The Warriors posted a challenging 206, led by Shimron Hetmyer, who smashed his second century of the season from just 45 balls.
Jamaica responded with a blistering 41 from 17 balls by Maaz Sadaqat, before Keacy Carty struck a crucial half-century to keep the chase on course.
Despite losing several late wickets, the Kingsmen held their nerve to complete the chase and book a place in Sunday’s final against the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons.
Jamaica will now have an opportunity to capture the CPL title in their first season back in the competition.
