A game-worn Michael Jordan jersey from the 1998 NBA Finals has been sold privately for 14 million US dollars, setting a new record for basketball memorabilia.
The autographed Chicago Bulls jersey was worn by Jordan during Game Two of the Finals against the Utah Jazz on June 5, 1998.
Hunt Auctions confirmed the sale, identifying Miami real estate investor Ron Firman as the buyer.
The Bulls won that game to level the championship series at one game apiece.
