Eminem’s Home Invader Reportedly Told Him He Was There To Kill Him
According to reports, a home invader who broke into rapper Eminem’s property, reportedly told Em that he was there to kill him.
On April 5th, Eminem got the shock of his life as when he woke up he was met by an unexpected man standing behind him. A Clinton Township police officer testified today, that Em initially thought it was his nephew, but it turned out to be a stranger later identified as 26-year-old Matthew David Hughes, said officer Adam Hackstock.
“When Mr. Mathers asked him why he was there, he was told by Mr. Hughes that he was there to kill him,” Hackstock said.
Hughes will remain locked up with a $50,000 cash bond. He is facing felony charges that will be addressed at the next court hearing later this month.
Thankfully, Eminem was not hurt in the home invasion.
