The Barbados Tridents snapped a four-game losing streak in style Sunday night, cruising to an eight-wicket win over the Saint Lucia Kings at Kensington Oval in the Republic Bank CPL.
Put in to bat, the Kings raced to 51 for 1 inside six overs behind a quickfire Kamil Pooran innings, but Mujeeb Ur Rahman's breakthrough dismissal of Pooran (37) flipped the game. Mujeeb and Jakeem Pollard choked the middle order, and despite a defiant 34 from Roston Chase, the Kings limped to 138 for 6, losing three wickets in the final five overs alone.
