Canadian superstar The Weeknd has made history, setting the record for the highest-grossing tour ever by a solo male artiste.
His After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour wrapped up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, last night, grossing more than 1.3 billion US dollars.
According to Live Nation, the tour sold over nine million tickets across 176 shows in 30 countries, surpassing Elton John’s previous record of 939 million dollars.
The Weeknd’s tour now ranks as the third-highest-grossing of all time, behind only Taylor Swift and Coldplay.
