The Barbados Tridents are the hottest team in the Caribbean Premier League right
now after dismantling the Guyana Amazon Warriors by six wickets to record their
fourth straight win last night.
Before a massive home crowd at Kensington Oval, the Tridents made light work of
the Amazon Warriors’ batting by bowling them out for their lowest total of the season
so far – a paltry 99 in 18.1 overs.
Brandon King then scored an unbeaten 44 at the top of the order and Shadrack
Descarte bludgeoned 32 off just 20 deliveries to see the home side to a predictable
win at Kensington Oval as they reached 100 for four in 14.5 overs.
