Kendrick Lamar Honored With Special Menu At Toronto Restaurant

May 13, 2024

Kendrick Lamar’s “Euphoria” left quite the impression with the Toronto-based Chinese restaurant, New Ho King, so much so that they dedicated a special menu item to him. On Friday (May 10), a TikTok video circulated online where the user detailed his experience at the restaurant since Lamar name-dropped the popular eatery.

Judging by the video, New Ho King seems to be booked and busy, with large crowds in and outside the restaurant. Per the video, the “Kendrick Lamar Special” includes four dishes: chicken wings, fried rice, beef & broccoli, and shrimp for around $65.

Following the release of Drake’s “Push Ups,” Kendrick offered his blistering response with “Euphoria.” Throughout the track, Lamar makes several accusations against the Toronto rap star, as well as offers his interpretation of Toronto slang: “Talk about me and my family, crodie?/Someone gon’ bleed in your family, crodie,” Lamar raps. “I be at New Ho King eatin’ fried rice with a dip sauce and a blammy, crodie.”
