Gayle King received A LOT of backlash after an interview she did that mentioned Kobe Bryant’s name.

We covered the story, Gayle interviewed Kobe’s good friend from the WNBA, Lisa Leslie. Everything seemed okay until Gayle brought up Kobe’s past legal situation. 

After the interview aired, Gayle spoke out and admitted that the clip was “jarring,” and that the clip as taken out of context.
