Meagan Good And Jonathan Majors Receive Guinean Citizenship

The West African nation of Guinea formally granted Hollywood actors Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good citizenship on Friday, the government announced. The couple received their new passports after tracing their lineage to the country through DNA testing, officials said.
The private ceremony, held in the capital of Conakry, was attended by senior Guinean officials. Djiba Diakité, chief of staff to President Mamadi Doumbouya, presented the couple with their citizenship documents. “We think that you are among the worthy sons and daughters of this Guinea,” Diakité said. “You represent our country, the red, yellow and green flag all over the world.”
Good, 44, and Majors, 36, traveled to Guinea this week as part of what officials described as a cultural and ancestral journey. The actors are planning a tour of key historical and tourist sites in the country over the weekend.
