OFFSET TRIES TO APOLOGIZE TO CARDI B ON STAGE
Offset seems to be feeling the aftermath of his failed public apology to Cardi B on Saturday night (Dec. 15).
The Migos rapper took to Twitter Sunday to address his surprise apology-gone-wrong to his estranged wife during her Rolling Loud in Los Angeles Saturday. In a dramatic gesture, Offset rapper walked on stage midway through Cardi’s performance to apologize for allegedly cheating on her.
“All of my wrongs have been made public, i figure It’s only right that my apologies are made public too,” Offset tweeted Sunday morning. “A n—- was just trying …..thank god I ain’t got no balloons sheeesh.”
Saturday night’s cringeworthy apology came hours after Offset posted an extremely public apology in a pleading video to his Instagram. He later showed up at Rolling Loud with a lavish floral arrangement that spelled out TAKE ME BACK, CARDI. But she wasn’t having it. After a brief, uncomfortable interaction, the lights dimmed and Offset walked off stage.
Cardi B announced that she and Offset were splitting up in early December following cheating allegations. He has since expressed his dismay over the situation on social media, and Cardi made a point to address her fans after the Rolling Loud incident.
She stressed that making him feel worse by piling on him online is unacceptable: “Violating my baby father is not going to make me feel any better, because at the end of the day, that’s still family.”
