Candace Owens Claps Back at Eminem

July 15, 2024

Candace Owens has sharply responded to Eminem’s recent diss aimed at her on his latest album, “Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce).” Speaking on “The TMZ Podcast,” Owens criticized Eminem’s lyrics as “ridiculously unoriginal” and accused him of trying to pander to Black audiences by targeting her.

In the track “Lucifer,” Eminem takes aim with lines like, “And Candace O, I ain’t mad at her / I ain’t gon’ throw the fact bitch forgot she was Black back at her / Laugh at her, like them crackers / She’s backin’ after / Her back is turnin’, a cute MAGA hat with her ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt.” The song escalates with derogatory references, likening her to “Grand Wizard” and “Grand Dragon.”

Candace Owens expressed amusement upon hearing the track, dismissing it as a sign of Eminem’s declining relevance in the music industry. She argued that Eminem’s attempt to attack her stems from a misguided effort to regain traction among his fanbase, particularly by targeting her support for Donald Trump.

According to Candace, Eminem’s lyrics reflect a lack of creativity and desperation to stay relevant. She emphasized that his focus on her political stance diverts attention from more substantial issues and accused him of pandering to Black audiences by attacking a prominent conservative figure.
