Sean “Diddy” Combs has been placed on suicide watch as he awaits federal trial for sex trafficking and racketeering charges. The mogul is detained in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn following his arrest on Monday (September 16). The 54-year-old has been denied bond twice. 

There have been no indications or concerns that Diddy is suicidal. It is for preventive measures since Combs is in shock and his mental state is unclear, according to People. In an interview with TMZ, celebrity prison coach John Fuller said that there is a legitimate concern about future self-harm during the trial.

Fuller to TMZ: “Diddy is likely used to getting his way given his A-list status … however, those days are over, at least for now — and that may become complicated for him to process.”
