Drake Seemingly Targets Kanye West on New Trippie Redd Song ‘Betrayal’

August 23, 2021

The longtime feud between Drake and Kanye West appears to have reignited.

On Saturday (Aug. 21), rapper Trippie Redd dropped his new track “Betrayal, which features a verse from Drizzy that seemingly take aim at 44-year-old Kanye.

“All these fools I’m beefin’ that I barely know/ 45, 44 (burned out), let it go/ Ye ain’t changin’ s— for me, it’s set in stone,” Drake raps on the song, which appears on the expanded version of Redd’s latest album, Trip at Knight.

Both Drake and West are in the process of releasing new albums. The Toronto MC’s long-delayed sixth album, Certified Lover Boy, is expected to arrive sometime this summer; and Ye’s upcoming 10th album, Donda, has been teased at large-scale listening events and is speculated to drop soon.
