HBO Releasing A Documentary About DMX Called, DMX: ‘DON’T TRY TO UNDERSTAND’

HBO is honoring the late legendary rapper, Earl Simmons, also known as DMX, in a beautiful way.

The network is releasing a documentary about X. It’s called DMX: DON’T TRY TO UNDERSTAND, and Christopher Frierson directs it. It follows the life of DMX, starting with the Yonker’s emcee getting released from prison in 2019 for tax evasion and serving one year.

X’s fiancée, Desiree Lindstrom spoke on it earlier last week. She shared a picture with her & the son she shares with DMX, Exodus, 5. In the caption, she wrote,

“After 7 months, we seeing you again.All the glory, all the pain, all the joy…you did it baby. Let the world see you…the man, the father and world renowned artist we all love and miss. Dont Try to Understand: A Year in the Life of Earl DMX Simmons premiering tonight @ DOC NYC and on HBO @ 8 pm on Thanksgiving Day … #foreverX.” Take a look:

Fans will see DMX get his life back from that point, rekindling relationships with loved ones. The documentary also highlights X’s comeback tour and him in his hometown inspiring his community.
