Kim Kardashian is ready to drop her married name. 

Reports state that the 41-year-old has officially filed to become “legally single” while moving forward with the divorce proceedings with Ye. 

If  approved, the request will take place effective immediately and it will “separate issues like child custody and property ownership from Kim’s marital status.” 

This news comes almost 10 months after she announced that she divorcing West. The couple have been married for seven years.

During the Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert, Ye expressed his desire to reconcile with Kim while performing his hit “Runaway”. “I need you to run right back to me. More specifically, Kimberly.” 

Kanye has shared that there is still a chance for him and his wife to get back together during a speech he gave last month on Skid Row during a pre-Thanksgiving event. 

“If the enemy can separate Kimye, there’s going to be millions of families that feel like that separation is OK,” West said. 

He continued, “But when God, who has already won and is so, brings Kimye together, there’s gonna be millions of families that are going to be influenced and see they can overcome the work of the separation, of trauma the devil has used to capitalize to keep people in misery while people step over homeless people to go to the Gucci store.”

Kim Kardashian has not responded about the filing.
