Marlon Wayans’ Recalls Last Encounter With Tupac
Marlon Wayans recently opened up about his haunting last encounter with Tupac Shakur on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast. The actor and comedian, known for his decades-long career, reflected on a chilling moment in Las Vegas that occurred just minutes before Tupac was fatally shot.
“I saw Tupac in Vegas at The Luxor 20 minutes before he got shot,” Wayans recalled, describing the eerie scene. He noticed Suge Knight and a group of people, feeling immediately unsettled. “I seen Suge and all these cars and thugs and reds. I turned white, I was like… ‘M-m-m-maybe we shouldn’t go over there. Despite Wayans’ hesitation, his friend and fellow actor Omar Epps insisted they approach Tupac to say hello. Wayans was reluctant, sensing trouble. “Are you sure? It sure looks like a lot of trouble over there,” he remembered asking Epps. Still, they approached Tupac, shared a brief conversation, and parted ways.
